About Me
Designing Learning That Works—For People and Performance
Robert Lengacher –
Senior Instructional Designer & Learning Systems Specialist
I design learning systems and experiences that are intuitive, accessible, and built to improve real-world performance.
My career began in K–12 STEM education and evolved into instructional design leadership, with a focus on technical training, digital learning, and enterprise enablement. Since 2014, I’ve led major learning initiatives at Florida State University’s Learning Systems Institute, where I’ve designed onboarding programs, blended learning solutions, and interactive content used by students, professionals, and global education partners.
I specialize in eLearning development, performance improvement, and scalable training systems. My approach blends deep analysis, collaboration with SMEs and engineering teams, and hands-on development with tools like Storyline, Rise, Camtasia, Adobe Creative Suite, and Figma. Whether I’m scripting a platform tutorial or building content for LMS deployment, I aim to deliver learning experiences that support clarity, adoption, and lasting behavior change.
🐦 Fun Fact:
I’ve been an avid birder for over 25 years. I bring to my work the same observation skills and attention to detail that I use spotting rare species in the field.
